This system is widely used not only in buildings, but also for <strong data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"449\">retaining walls<\/strong> e <strong data-start=\"452\" data-end=\"472\">waterworks<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"477\" data-end=\"644\"><p data-start=\"479\" data-end=\"644\">In the <strong data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"507\">modern coverings<\/strong>, on the other hand, stone slabs of <strong data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"571\">reduced thickness<\/strong>, attached to the walls with <strong data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"609\">glues<\/strong> or via <strong data-start=\"620\" data-end=\"641\">mechanical systems<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"837\">Any kind of stone can be used in cladding.
